with camera flashWhimsical is the Revlon nail polish that everyone is craving because it is well-known as the Deborah Lippmann's "Glitter in the Air" dupe. It seems that Revlon make a lot of nail polish dupes lately, like Deborah Lippmann dupes and Chanel dupes.

no flashWhimsical is a glitter polish with medium pink hexagon glitter, medium light blue hexagon glitter, small silver glitter, and fine duochrome glitter in a baby blue creme base that is quite sheer.
The pastel baby blue colour is lovely, and I am happy with the sheerness. I think opacity can be achieved with 3-4 coats.
The glitter in Whimsical is not very dense. Therefore, I had to be extra careful when I applied the nail polish/placed the glitter as I want more glitter on my nail.
The photos below show 2 coats of Whimsical worn on its own (no base nail colour), with top coat.
